Certified Pure Therapeutic Grade (CPTG) doTERRA Essential Oils

I use essential oils in almost every single one of my massage and bodywork sessions. I have studied essential oils for years through books and workshops and through hundreds of sessions and self use. Through these experiences, I have come to realize their potency and healing effects through natural means that they have on myself and others. The little bottles are easy to carry around, and I think they’re fun to use. They smell delightful – so many times a client comes into my office and comments about how wonderful it smells. I even put a drop of  Elevation blend oil (for uplifting your energy and mood) on the face cradle cover for my clients to breathe in while they’re in the face-down position on my table. I also use a specialty oil diffuser in my home and office to put tiny particles of the oils in the air. This helps the air quality and respiration.  It’s great in Oregon, where I live, in the winter months when mold can be an issue, and in the springtime when pollen is potent in the air. I have a car diffuser as well that I plug into the lighter outlet. I notice a runny nose clears up quickly when I diffuse oils like “Eucalyptus”, “On-Guard”, and “Peppermint”.

The brand, doTERRA,  is the leader in high quality, therapeutic grade oils. Because essential oils have no regulatory agency, any company can make claims of their potency on their labels, but there is no guarantee as to the makeup of the solution contained within. However, doTERRA has created a standard of quality that I have not found in any other oils. Every single bottle of oil has been tested to contain specific constants of the healing properties of the plant with no residue of pesticides.  You can trust that each bottle of lavender oil, for example, will be exactly like the last bottle you bought, unlike other brands where the consistency of the oil’s make-up varies.  To truly gain benefits besides a pleasant smell, I have learned that the essential oil must be processed in a specific way and have maximum concentration. One receives benefits from aromatherapy,  and/or by using the oils directly on the skin, sometimes diluted by a carrier oil. One drop is usually enough, so the tiny 15ml bottles last a long time.

Besides straight essential oils, doTERRA also carries a variety of healthy products like supplements and a skin care line, which contain the essential oils as part of their ingredients.  They contain only quality and natural components free of chemicals and fillers of sulfites, sulfates, or parabens that other cheap brands commonly use. It is important to understand that the skin is the largest organ of the human body, and anything you put on it is absorbed into the blood stream. Keeping that fact in mind, is it any wonder cancer rates continue to skyrocket when the populace continues to cover their bodies in soaps, deodorants, lotions, shampoos, laundry detergents, cosmetics, shaving creams, hair dyes, hair gels, etc. that contain seriously harmful chemicals and artificial colors and scents, day after day, year after year, decade after decade?  I feel grateful that I realized this fact at a young age. I do not use any product that contains chemical ridden ingredients. The artificial scents in these products really disturb my nose and irritate my skin, because it has regained all of its receptors and is no longer dulled by the chemicals that I used to use when I was ignorant of the harmful effects. I can smell the fake, chemical clouds on people across rooms and along local hiking trails when I pass someone who uses the standard body care fare.  doTERRA essential oils and products are safe and give the added guarantee of being certified pure therapeutic grade.

To learn more about the uses of essential oils, check out the website everythingessential.me. The site’s description is as follows, “A search-able wealth of information on essential oils with a bias toward doTerra products.
Hundreds of health concerns are addressed including the submissions to Google Group-EverythingdoTERRA site;
and the site will continue to grow with shared protocols, videos, and scientific research about essential oils and health concerns”.
It is a great way to learn which oils may work for an issue you may be suffering from. Just type in a search for whatever you are wondering about. It is so easy and fun and much safer than using prescription drugs and/or over-the-counter “symptom suppressors” that can further push your body out of balance, create horrible side effects, and cost you more money.

I also have a blog where I share articles and experiences I have with the doTERRA essential oils. Check it out at www.quinnessentialdoterr.com.

I want to note that essential oils are to be used with caution. I recommend studying articles online on how to use them or buy a manual on them. As I mentioned above, it is important to dilute some essential oils with a carrier oil like jojoba, coconut,  or almond oil if you’re using them on the skin. Some oils are stronger than others – I use some oils, one drop only, directly on my skin, but others I do not, as it will burn. The phrase, “knowledge is power” is true in the case of essential oils. Go to amazon.com to search for good reference manuals.

To purchase doTERRA oils  you have to order through a distributor, like me. To access doTERRA’s online catalog for products and prices, go to the following website:
